This Matchbox Construction Claw appears to have no patent which is odd. The HandTrux toys have no sharp edges like the Mattel model, no parts that can become dislodged and swallowed. Handtrux are hard, durable plastic, fits on your arm, for boys and girls ages 5 and up. Great for the sandbox, beach. Adults will even delight in using a Handtrux in the garden. See www.handtruxtoys.com when you're ready to play dirty. HandTrux complies with all applicable government safety regs but I seriously doubt this Mattel one does. HandTrux are created and made in America.
