Crime and Punishment is one the great literary works of all time. The story is compelling and effective, and it contains some of Dostoevsky's richest characters. I loved the social commentary and the wonderfully engaging story. One of the greatest books I have ever read.

Rating: I found these notes to be a helpful guide for studying Dostoevsky's epic novel "Crime and Punishment." They are detailed and illuminating regarding much of that work. I was disappointed, however, that they do not go more in depth into what the novel is about, but rather provide a basic understanding of the story.
