An inner city basketball coach teaches life lessons through sports and academics, all the while inspiring a few particular players. It is an enjoyable film!

The best thing about this movie is that it is based on a true story and the coaches start to show respect for other people and maintain school so they can get an education. And be successful in life and thats why it was good to challenge them academicly so they could do what they love doing. And the basket players are taking this risk so they could successfully become basketball players and go to college and get an education even if its in basketball. Tino Cruz was a drug dealer but coach carter gave him the respect and expected him to respect him back or he was just not going to play on his team which was simple rule that he simply did not follow and was not going to play for Richmond if he kept breaking rule by rule by rule. Which is what this movie so great it can help millions of people go to college and get an education in doing what they love.
