It's portable, so they can bring it everywhere--it's especially good for long car trips. The only problem with it is having to limit the time the kids spend on it. Earlier, I had purchased a clear plastic case with a silicon lining which literally cracked as I put it on and soon after broke completely. This Joytron case feels very durable and is much, much thinner. The only negative is that it does not have anything covering the back like my old one did, though that part has a matte finish which would not scratch as much.
The finish of the case was unexpected, it has a soft rubbery feel, which according to the website is an outer coat of urethane paint.
