The movie is really a handful to watch but it really gets your adrenaline rushing. It's not the greatest movie and it is def. not Tom's best performance, but if you are a fan of his then you should see it anyways. Colin Farrel did pretty good as well but his role is small, but nevertheless. i'm a tad bit surprised by the PG-13 rating, but it's not a graphic movie at all. ZThe sci-fi part was the part that is somewhat over the top. If you like more of a realistic thriller, then you should skip it, but action/sci-fi fans should see it[ that is, unless you hate tom cruise].

Philip K Dick has only been translated once correctly in the medium of film by Linklater in a Scanner Darkly, see that for a good example.

The cinematography has a futuristic, blue steel tone throughout.
I heard that Steven Spielberg gathered a group of future predictioin experts in a meeting to discuss the possible products to be seen in near the second half of the twenty-first century.
Great plotline with a twist that leaves you in awe forever.

The sci-fi movie explores controversial issues such as cloning. The humanity of cloning is reflected through the eye of a cloned body.
Ewan McGregor is a decent performer. Casting could have found somone with stronger acting skills.
Definitely worth it for sci-fi fans.
