| | | | Posted By Michelle from Virginia | | | | | | This is Leonard Cohen's darkest album, a moody and haunting work of fragile reconciliation. Many of the songs are quiet and sad ruminations on Cohen's dark past, set to the sparse sounds of his acoustic guitar. They are superbly written and convey a sense of desperate human emotion that is rare to find in most albums.
