| | | Summary: | "Pleasant Surprise" Posted By Maggie from Vermont | | Pros: | Sturdy, heavy enough not to shift, all the information is displayed (time, distance, speed, calories, heart rate) clearly in front of you. | | Cons: | It does not wipe my brow, fan me or bring me soda. | | | | | | One time I've entered a small fitness club in Budapest, Hungary. The only item of interest (because of my knees) is the elliptical trainer. They had one and I was delighted...until I got on it. It was a shabby piece of equipment one worried about destroying.
This experience kept me away from even looking at elliptical trainers for the home. Last week I was in a shop to purchase a trampoline and while waiting for my receipt I looked at the other machines in the store. Among the line-up was the Kettler Verso CT 307. Had nothing else to do so I got on to try it.
What a pleasant surprise! The machine did not whine and sway but performed like a professional gym quality equipment. As the elliptical is still the only reason I would join a gym but because there are only two of these at the gym with usually a line of people waiting - the thought kept coming back to me about 'what if'.
The next day I returned to try it again. Still the same pleasant experience - so what is one to do?! Asked them to put a sold sign on it and opened my phone to make arrangements to get it home.
It had been 3 days now - each day at least once I do a 45 minute workout on it at a 5-6 setting. This is on purpose as I've not been working out lately and the pounds piled on - living alone, I realize that if I overdue it I could keel over and the cats can't call an ambulance.
