The bar doesn't last for very long; it melts down quickly; and, a new bar has to be used. The soap contains Vaseline, supposedly to soften the skin; however, I never noticed any softening. There is absolutely nothing appealing about this soap. This is no pleasant scent, no special qualities or benefits, and the color (a pale green) is equally unattractive. I loved it then, and sill do. It is a classic! Merely holding a fresh new bar of this soap is comforting. It smells nice and the soft pink color adds to its feminine appeal. And, it also makes my skin feel soft. Over the years, it seemed to quietly fade away. I couldn't find it anywhere. Now, it appears to be making a comeback and is more easily available.
