Apparently our cleaning lady didn't notice and continued to use the vacuum which tore up the area surrounding the beater brush. We had a hoover vacuum before this, but it didnt work as well as this one. The ads are not lying, this is a great vacuum cleaner. Picks up cat hair and dirt like nothing. All you have to do every few months is wash the filter.
