Gene Kelly At Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer: S Wonderful
Gene Kelly was a top flight dancer and choreographer and these excerpts make it clear why moviegoers flocked to flims like "Singin' In The Rain," a first class satire on Hollywood's conversion from silents to talkies. First class all the way. |

William Shatner - The Transformed Man
When this album came out, it was panned royally for his talking songs instead of singing them. It is, though, a nostalgic hoot and fun to play at any party, but just once I'd say. |

Bridge Over Troubled Water (Remaster)
"Bridge Over Troubled Waters" was the biggest success of Simon and Garfunkle's career based upon the massively popular song of the same name and a number of other successful hits. Overall the songs are well-crafted and mature. |

Titanic: The Essential James Horner Film Music Collection
James Horner is an extraordinary film composer who has scored some of the biggest and best films of the past several decades. The majority of his work is presented here, including the very best of all the films he has done. It is a wonderful overview of a diverse and creative musician's work. |

The Perry Como Shows 1943 Vol. 1
This is my personal favorite of the Perry Como Shows collections. It has the best song selections and I think Como sounds his best on these recordings. While it isn't consistent in quality throughout, it does offer the best versions available and the best I have heard of these classics. |

Greatest Hits/Greatest Hits Vol. 2/Love Story [Box]
This is an exceptional collection of three separate albums by Andy Williams, one of the best male vocalists of all time and a personal favorite of mine. I really love all three of these great albums and I think this is an excellent representation of Williams' best work. |

Us And Them: Symphonic Pink Floyd
This is actually one of the better symphonic tribute albums that I have heard. It covers Pink Floyd's expansive career and most of these interpretations are quite unique and very interesting. I loved hearing such great songs being so responsibly reinterpreted, and I find myself listening to it almost as much as the original albums. |
