This story makes more sense as I am getting older. When kids are stranded in an unknown place, the need for order becomes an instinct. It goes to show that human beings strive for civilization regardless of age. |

After devouring season 1, I was delighted to snap up season 2 of this classic guilty pleasure. Again, great transfer and fabulous entertainment, but minus much of the original music! I'm guessing there were copyright issues? Otherwise a great buy. |

Finally, Beverly Hills, 90210 comes to DVD! As a long-time fan, I was psyched! The high-quality transfer is a delight, but unfortunately some of the original vintage '90s background music has been replaced by inappropriate-sounding new stuff. This is an irksome exceotion to an otherwise great collection of classic TV! |

Fight Club (DVD)
This movie is a must see. Just to watch Brad Pitt and Edward Norton’s performance is enough. It’s in a league of it’s own. The story and the direction are so strong and cool. It’s a little twisted and violent but definitely worth checking out. |

I saw this movie with a friend who hated it - but I loved it. It’s one of those movies. I see why people get annoyed with it. If you’re not ready to suspend disbelief then don’t check this movie out. But if you’re in the mood for a dreamy, imaginative movie Moulin Rouge is great. |

I just saw this sleeper of a movie while flipping the channels. It was so much fun! Plus the music was wonderful it made me want to go out and buy the soundtracks. It’s a sweet little movie that was totally enjoyable. |

Walk the Line
My boyfriend didn't realize this was going to be a love story, so he didn't love it. But I did, and it was more than just a love story. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon give amazing performance. Plus the music is amazing, as expected. |

Cameron Crowe is one of my favorites directors. The way he marries music and movies is perfect, especially in Almost Famous. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over again. This was the part Kate Hudson was born to play. |

Girl Interrupted
I really enjoyed the book that this was based on so decided to check it out. For the first time I liked the movie better and that's all do to the performances. Everyone was so memorable. Angelina Jolie was well deserving of the Oscar. Brittany Murphy gives what I think is one of her best performance. And Winona is always good. |

Black Snake Moan
This looked so weird, I had to check it out. It was definitely weird, and not the best movie but I enjoyed it. The music was really great in the film, the soundtrack is acutally better than the movie. It's just one of those bad movies that was good for strange reasons. Christina Ricci was fearless in her role, while Samuel Jackson was good...but could have been great. |

Tim Burton is one of a kind. There really is no one similiar and that's why Edward Scissorhands is such a winner. It's a movie that works because of the clear direction of Burton and the amazing performance from Johnny Depp. You really won't find another movie like this one. |
