Marx Brothers Collection
I bought this for my brother who likes old movies. I immediately borrowed it from him and myself and my young kids were laughing at their zany antics. My kids especially loved Harpo. |

Brady Bunch, The
This movie brilliantly portrays each and every character very accurately. The same brady family tries to make it in today's world but doesn't really fit in. The story line is very clever but is nothing like the real thing. |

Academy Award Winning Movies Vol. 1
I love movies so getting a 3 volume set of Oscar winners for $40 is a good deal. In this set, only Frida is out of place. Not an Oscar winner (at least not a BEST PICTURE) so that drags down the value a bit. Volume 3 of this grouping has the best selection, but Chicago and Life Is Beautiful are terrific films and hold up well. |

Nightmares & Dreamscapes Collection
These were pretty good episodes in terms of quality. All of them were based on some of King's best short works. I especially enjoyed the episode "Battleground", with William Hurt. His performance was brilliant and that was probably the best episode of the series. |

The Samurai Trilogy - Criterion Collection (DVD)
This is truly a wonderful collection of these three samurai films. They form a captivating trilogy that tells the story of one man's struggle to become a samurai, and all of the obstacles he must face. Toshiro Mifune's performance is passionate and remarkable. |

John Cassavetes: Five Films
This is a fantastic edition of five films from director John Cassavetes. The set includes his two earliest film, Faces and Shadows, as well as his later successes such as Woman Under the Influence, Killing of a Chines Bookie, and Opening Night. All of these films are great and they are presented here in beautiful restorations. Also included in the set is A Constant Forge, a documentary on Cassavetes' life and work. There is even a booklet that contains several essays and writings about the films. |

Horror Classics 50 Movie Pack - 12-DVD Set (DVD)
This is a great deal. I have seen all these films and it is worth the expense just for the original "Night of the Living Dead" and "Nosferatu," not to mention seeing the great Lon Chaney Sr. at his peak. |
