Sideways
I really enjoyed the movie. It's the kind of movie you can turn to as a defense mechanism to tickle your sensual pleasures. |

Manhattan Murder Mystery (DVD)
Somewhat of a return to form for Woody Allen, this film is light, sparkly fun. Quite hilarious, featuring a welcome return performance from the wonderful Diane Keaton. |

This Film is Not Yet Rated
Fascinating documentary about the sham of an organization that is the MPAA--I just wish the director had given more screen time to the many engaging directors he features than his less-interesting and somewhat smug self. |

The Simpsons - Season 8
I don't care what anyone says, I don't think the glory days of this continually brilliant and hilarious show are behind it--I think this season is as great as any! |

A Dirty Shame
A hilarious return the form for Mr. Waters, laugh out loud funny and containing a positive message (really!) to boot. Raunchy but good-spirited, this is a must for any fan of cult flicks or, um, laughing. The narration on the making-of featurette was irksome, but otherwise a lovely addition to any DVD library, even if you're not part of the automatic audience of Waters buffs like me. |

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (DVD)
Despite the awful fact that the director and producers destroyed Joss Whedon's superior vision, between Luke Perry and Paul Rubens, this is a great time. I got is because I'm a fan of the show and while the tone is totally different, I think it will be of great interest to all Buffy-philes. |

Theres Something About Mary (DVD)
I’m not one for gross out humor, but I still really like There’s Something About Mary. It’s probable Cameron Diaz at her best and Ben Stiller doing “Ben Stiller” but less intense than he does now. It’s of course extremely funny, but also really sweet. And Jonathan Richman singing throughout it a genius touch in my opinion |

Hairspray
I love this movie and the music in it. I hope people don't forget about the original Hairspary by the kooky John Waters when the new musical movie comes out. It's funny and quirky. Anyone who watches is bound to have a good time. |

Freaks and Geeks - The Complete Series
I will never understand why this gem of a series was cancelled. Many of the stars have gone on to big things and continue to work together, thank god for that, because they work amazingly together. The shows are honest, funny, and very true to high school. If you're looking for a true coming of age story this is a whole series of them. |

The Royal Tenenbaums
I recently watched this movie again and realized how much I loved it. It's absurb, but for some reason it's easy to relate to. Each actor gives some of their best performances. The touching moments really surprise you. Some people like Bottle Rocket or Rushmore the best out of Wes Anderson's films...this is my favorite. |

Shrek
Shrek, provides constant excitement throughout the movie. A true comedy made for the entire family. Shrek 1 also teaches that it is okay for you to be who you are, no matter what other people think. |

Dr. Dolittle
I really liked this movie, it was so funny and so cute. Norm McDonald as Lucky the dog was my favorite character. Eddie Murphy is also very funny in this feel comedy. |

The Hot Chick
This movie is a lot funnier than I thought it was going to be. Rob Schneider and Anna Faris kept me laughing through out the entire film. |

Breakin All the Rules
Although this movie was to be a comedy that took a deeper look into love and relationships, it was just flat out corny to me. I barely laughed and find it hard to stay awake. Two thumbs down! |

Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
I liked the sequel. It was not as funny as the first. It has a few more
serious and heart touching moments but still a good one to watch. |
