This is an exceptional release of two great films and one good one. El Topo and The Holy Mountain are two masterpieces of late night cult cinema. Both are filled with mysticism, symbolism, and religious imagery. The third film, Fando y Lis, was Jodorowsky's first film and it shows. It is not altogether bad, but it is not as good as the other two. The restored transfers for all of these films is amazing and they all look spectacular. Also included in the box set is Jodorowsky's short film and the soundtracks to both El Topo and The Holy Mountain. This is a highly recommended purchase of quality films in a quality set. |

It's the most romantic of all his recordings, and the beauty of it is overwhelming. If you want to renew your heart and lift your spirit, this will do it. It's a life-changing, powerful experience, and music at its very best. |

This is an excellent CD, with Alejandro's rich, velvety voice sounding great and the musicianship throughout superb. Alejandro Fernandez is clearly one of the great romantic singers of his generation and this CD is a fabulous example of the modern fusion of ranchera with flamenco, jazz, and even Native American music. |

The beauty and perfection of this CD has brought peace and calm into my life, as well as to others. Although understanding the lyrics adds to the joy of this CD, I don't think it's necessary in order to appreciate the universal magic of this music. |

Alejandro's exquisite voice, which reminds me somewhat of the velvety richness of Mexico's famed idol Javier Solis, is remarkable in its power, breath control, and the sensitivity of his interpretations. All the songs are excellent. |

I never tire of his beautiful voice or the beautiful songs. If you like Mexican music, This is one to treasure for many years to come. If you like baladas, corridos and old time ranchera but with modern production, then try this, cuz it's first class all the way. |

These videos range from the romantic to the incredibly sad. Several require that you keep a box of tissues handy. Also on the DVD are a discography, biographical information, and some behind-the-scenes footage. It is excellently produced with an easily navigable menu, and truly fine sound. |
